Instagram is rolling out a Chat sticker that lets you Join into a group chat with your followers directly from your Story. It will increase the engagement for users and make it easier to get a conversation going. The new sticker can be used for arranging meetings with friends, giving fans a chance to chat, and more. The sticker is available in the Instagram Story section. Instagram is introducing new features within the story section time to time and one of them is “SWIPE UP” which is my favorite. In this article, I am sharing a quick tutorial to add CHAT sticker in Instagram stories. I found it very helpful especially for those who love to chat with their followers or fans.
Follow these steps to Add CHAT Sticker in Instagram Stories
Step 1. Let’s create a story first.
Step 2. Open the Stickers section and select the newly added sticker “CHAT“.
Step 3. Now you need to give a name to this chat. Even you can select the color theme for this sticker from the color selection tool above.
Step 4. Now let’s post this story.
Step 5. Now you are wondering how it works? Well, Your followers are able to see that sticker “JOIN CHAT” on your story.
Step 6. Once they tap on that sticker “JOIN CHAT“. It will be changed to “Requested”.
Step 7. Now it’s your turn. You have the list of all the followers who requested to JOIN CHAT.
Step 8. You can approve their requests all at a time or one by one. It’s up to you. Once you approve their request, Sticker text will be changed from “Requested” to “Joined” for them. And now you can chat with all the members of the group.
NOTE: It’s a group chat, So you can interact with your followers at a time. You can add or remove anyone from the chat and end the conversation whenever you’d like.
